Glacier Peak from Middle Ridge

A band of clouds provides partial privacy for Glacier Peak.  Hidden along the heights of Middle Ridge, Sheep Camp provides its own rich beauty where high alpine meadows display a rich carpet of grasses and wild flowers.  To the west, the grandeur of Glacier Peak almost overwhelms the senses.  A view to the north reveals the open fields that flank Miner’s Ridge.  On that clear August day in 2008 we could see and almost smell the lupines that adorned Flower Dome miles to the south.  It was a perfect day to capture the wilderness.
